About Grace & Kyle

Kyle Caddick, played by Richard Fleeshman, is son of Esther and Michael Caddick. He is musically gifted and provides much of the inspiration when Esther decides to set up her own choir. While not directly approached, it is suspected that Kyle has a form of autism along the lines of Asperger's syndrome.His guitar is usually Tom Delonge's signature Gibson ES-333.

Grace Oudidja, played by Ayesha Gwilt. Grace is the Caddick family's next door neighbour and the drummer in Kyle and Fred's band. She lives with her granddad Jimmy after being thrown out of her home by her mum.

Grace and Kyle's relationship begins when Jimmy brings her in to show the quality of music he wants to hear if he has to listen to their band through the wall all the time. Kyle notices that she can play drums well and she later becomes involved as the drummer for Esther's choir All the Small Things. They begin to bond over their passion for Blink-182 and Kyle's knowledge of Tom DeLonge. Kyle offers to 'learn her' and she tells him some facts about her. They slowly become closer and are seen holding hands over Monica's brother's funeral pyre. In episode 6, Kyle sings her a song he wrote for her and she kisses him. He then goes on to proclaim that they were getting married. Esther doesn't approve of this and they run away to the seaside together. It is there that Kyle proposes to Grace, reciting all the facts she had given him months earlier. She agrees and they become engaged.
